Does it handle tax / GST for my country?

India and Australia are turnkey — sign up and you are billing straight away, with CGST/SGST/IGST and an HSN summary for India, and 10% tax-inclusive GST for Australia. For any other country, our tax engine is configurable and our team sets your rules up with you during onboarding — GST/HST in Canada, VAT in the UK, TVA in France, state sales tax in the US, or wherever you trade. It is included free, not a paid add-on, and usually configured within one business day.

My country isn't India or Australia — can I still use it?

Yes. Everything else in MyBillSync — scanning, inventory, batches and expiry, returns, customer credit, offline billing and reports — is country-agnostic and works today. The only piece we tailor is tax: your rates, your currency and a compliant invoice and receipt layout. Request your country and we will configure it at no extra cost, on the same plan and price.

What kind of shop is MyBillSync for?

Any retail counter that scans a barcode and prints a bill. Today it runs fashion and apparel stores, cosmetics shops, footwear stores, flower shops, gift shops, carts and kiosks, automobile and spare-parts businesses, pet stores, book stores, home and living stores, watch stores and luggage stores. Cosmetics and pet food benefit from batch and expiry tracking; book stores scan ISBNs directly; carts and kiosks bill offline from a tablet.

Can I use my existing barcode scanner and printer?

Absolutely. Any USB barcode scanner works as plug-and-play, and you can print to 58/80mm thermal printers or a Bluetooth pocket printer.

Does it work without internet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If your connection drops, you can keep billing — sales are saved locally and sync automatically when you are back online, with no duplicates.

Which devices can I use?

MyBillSync runs in any web browser today, on the counter desktop or a tablet. Native desktop apps for Windows & Mac are coming soon, with your data staying in sync across all of them.

Can I track inventory, batches and expiry?

Yes — stock is tracked to the unit, with batch numbers and expiry dates, oldest-first (FEFO) selling, low-stock and near-expiry alerts, stock-take and purchase orders.
